Nha Trang 08/05/2013 - 11/05/2013
Arriving in Nha Trang was another welcome change as we were by the sea and we got our first glimpse of a beach. We spent the first day wandering about and swimming in the ocean.
On the second day we took an early morning stroll to the market, we bargained hard for a 32GB USB stick to back-up our photos, and i got some insane trousers for about 2 pounds.
In the afternoon we got a cable car over to 'Vinpearl Land' an amusement park. The water park was brilliant but the rest was a bit of a let down. The view from the restaurant and the quality of the food made up for it, the best meal/location yet.
On the third day we took a party boat with some guys we had met in Da Lat, we visited some gorgeous little islands, snorkeled in the sea with these ridiculous masks, chilled in the shade under the palm trees and drank beer and ate lots of crisps. In the afternoon the boat crew assembled a rather rusty looking drum kit and got their guitars out, the music wasn't the best but they got us all involved. We got up and sang with them, it was quite embarrassing but so funny! After this we all jumped off the boat and there was a floating bar, straight rum, YUMMY. Such fun, shame we were all so hungover from the night before.
Today we went to 'Thap Ba Spa' with a couple we had met in Da Lat. We had a leisurely mud bath followed by hot mineral salt water spa bath, and then into a hot and cold swimming pool. It left us feeling so so relaxed :) completely rejuvenated.
