'That's the Da Lattitude'

'Da Lat' 05/05/2013 - 08/05/2013

We arrived in Da Lat after the most beautiful drive through the mountains, it was a welcome change from the busy city. There was a huge man made lake in the center and mountains all around, so picturesque.

We took a pedalo around the lake, and had cocktails in the evening.

The next day we booked an easy rider tour, we experienced our first pagoda and learnt about Buddhism.

Our next stop was a hand embroidery workshop, and after that we learnt how silk was made from the cocoons of the silk worm. This was fascinating.

After that we rode to a remote location in the mountains and hiked up a hill for some of the most spectacular scenery I've ever seen.

Then off to elephant falls, my first experience of a waterfall. WOW.

We got stuck in our first monsoon on the way back, it was exhilarating watching the heavens open, the rain hitting my face on the back of the moped is something i won't forget! Ouch
